How do I cancel my paid subscription?

You can cancel anytime from your account:

  1. Click your profile

  2. Choose Cancel subscription

Your plan will stay active until the end of your current billing period. After that, it won’t renew.

Can I pause my paid subscription?

Yes — if pause is available on your plan, you’ll see Pause Subscription on the Manage Subscription page. Select Pause to take a break for 1–3 months. You won’t be charged again until you resume.

What happens when my subscription is paused?

When paused:

  • Your subscription is put on hold

  • No charges are made during the pause

  • You can resume anytime (billing restarts when you resume or when the pause ends)

Can I share my Quizgecko login?

No. Each account is tied to one email address. Sharing access violates our Terms of Service and may lead to your account being suspended.

Is there a limit on the number of Courses I can create?

It depends on your plan. Some plans include a Course limit, others are unlimited.
To check, open your billing page to see your current plan, then compare it with our plans page.

How much usage is included?

Usage limits vary by plan. Higher-tier plans usually get faster generation speeds and higher limits. We also apply an Acceptable Usage policy to prevent bots and abuse — most users won’t notice it.

What is the Acceptable Usage policy?

If an account has unusually high usage, we may automatically slow it down or temporarily limit it to protect performance for everyone.

If you think this happened by mistake, contact us and we can review it. If you run into a limit, wait a minute and try again — limits are dynamic and can change over time.
Sharing or reselling account access violates our terms and may result in cancellation without a refund.

Do you offer refunds?

Because AI generation is expensive to run, we don’t offer refunds under normal circumstances. For the exceptions, please refer to our refunds policy.

Can I change my plan after signing up?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from the Manage Subscription page.

How do I delete my credit card information?

Billing details are stored securely with our payment processor, Stripe. Once you cancel, you won’t be charged again unless you re-subscribe.

If you’d still like us to remove the payment method on file, contact us and we’ll help.

What if I subscribed to a paid subscription on your app?

If you subscribed in the Quizgecko mobile app, your subscription is managed by the store you used at checkout. That means cancellations, plan changes, and refunds happen in Google Play or the Apple App Store (and are not managed by Quizgecko).

Google Play (Android)

Cancel or change your plan

  1. Open Google Play Store

  2. Tap your profile icon

  3. Go to Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions

  4. Select Quizgecko

  5. Tap Cancel subscription (or choose the plan/change option if available)

Note: Uninstalling the app doesn’t cancel your subscription.

What happens after you cancel

You’ll keep access for the time you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again at the next renewal.

Receipts and billing history

You can view purchases in Google Play order history, or via payments.google.com (subscriptions and services).

iOS (Apple App Store)

Cancel or change your plan

  1. Open Settings

  2. Tap your name

  3. Tap Subscriptions

  4. Select Quizgecko

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

If you don’t see a Cancel button (or you see an expiration message), the subscription is already canceled.

If you can’t find your iOS subscription

Apple recommends searching your email for “receipt from Apple” or “invoice from Apple” and checking which Apple Account was used for the purchase.
